Creston Davis

Creston Davis is a dual licensed professional therapist, licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist (MFT License# 51024) and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (License#LR1400511). Through his private practice in San Diego (Old Town), California, he provides therapy to individuals, couples, with a wide variety of treatment needs. Areas of treatment include: relationship counseling, military issues, depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment disorders, and psychotic disorders. Additionally, he specializes in trauma and addictions, drug abuse, food addiction, and behavioral addiction.

Creston Davis graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Psychology, and later went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. Creston is licensed through Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for Marriage Family Therapy. He is also licensed through California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) for Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselling. Currently, Creston is the founder and primary counselor at the Institute of Modern Recovery.

Creston has provided an array of therapeutic services to clients, including clients with chronic mental illnesses, trauma, and addiction.
