We provide individual therapy as an opportunity for the client to open up to a mental health professional in a comfortable environment. This is a personalized experience based on the needs and preferences of the client. It involves talking through life situations and problems to achieve better mental health overall.
We focus on treating people who struggle with trauma, depression, and anxiety. Often times, people who have been through a traumatic experience or have battled depression are likely to have dealt with complex emotions. Complex emotions are often overwhelming and can be difficult to control. We are skilled to help our clients deal with complex emotions by using CBT, EMDR and other evidence-based practices.
Individual therapy allows you to have a one-to-one discussion with a mental health professional. Together we will identify problems and triggers and work towards healthy solutions. You can also learn how to use coping skills to handle complex emotions and life challenges.
EMDR is a trauma treatment that helps process distressing memories and restore the brain's natural healing abilities. It is a powerful evidence-based therapy practice to help people recover from trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
We offer treatment for active duty, veterans and military families who are experiencing difficulties related to military service and life stressors.
